Recently, 1-800-ASK-GARY volunteer committee member Bex Hamblin helped our team help the local community by dropping off new school supplies at the Mothers Helping Mothers Back to School Bash in Sarasota. The school supplies included pens from our friends at Physicians Group, crayons, rulers, pencils, papers, markers, note paper and water bottles. This donation was made to help local families in need by making sure one small burden in the preparation for a happy school year was lightened. We hope to find similar events in the upcoming weeks, so we can continue to have a positive impact on our community.

TAMPA, FL, July 26, 2021
WiLD 94.1 and 1-800-ASK-GARY announced on Friday that auditions for NEXT UP, a digital talent search contest, opened for submission. If you are a Tampa Bay musician or a band, submit a headshot, your contact information, your Instagram handle as and a video of you performing your original song on the WiLD 94.1 and 1-800-ASK-GARY contest website. Participation submission will remain open until August 4, 2021, at 12:00 PM Eastern. It is that simple!
How it Works
When the contest entry period is complete, local Tampa Bay musicians participating will be notified that it is time to promote the video to fans and followers. Individuals will vote for participants in a six-round bracket challenge. The final artist left standing will win:
- A free mentorship session with Cool and Dre’s Grammy Winning team of producers at The Record Room in Miami
- A $1000.00 Visa Gift card to take care of the hotel and any incidentals while in Miami
- The winner will also receive a recording session provided by Bach to Rock
- The opportunity to perform on stage for WiLD 94.1 on an upcoming show/event.
The bracket challenge encourages interaction between WiLD 94.1 audiences and musicians to listen, watch, engage and interact with one another.
“Our partnership with WiLD 94.1 provides local musicians a digital platform and a community to showcase their musical style, jump-start their career and dramatically increase brand visibility among industry professionals and loyal fans,” said Rob Adams, CEO of 1-800-ASK-GARY.
For the music fans out there, WiLD 94.1 invites listeners and fans to decide the winners. Further details can be found by visiting the contest website here.
